Your most important communications tool is your website. Is yours up to code?
If you don’t have a website, or if your current one isn’t communicating effectively due to an outdated look, usability issues, non-compliance with Web standards, or for reasons unknown to you, MarComm can help.
At MarComm, we offer full-service web design and development. We can also conduct expert reviews and usability testing to determine what’s wrong with your website, while ultimately offering a variety of solutions to fix the problem. And thanks to Conductor—a customizable and proprietary web-based Content Management System (CMS) developed by MarComm—once your new or revamped website is live, you’ll have the power to easily manage content, quickly view detailed statistics, and effortlessly build custom databases. Of course, support is something we take very seriously, as well. So, if you ever need us, we’ll be here, on campus, to respond to any request.
You can’t work every minute of every day, but your website can. And it should. If it isn’t working for you, contact us today, and we’ll make it our job to ensure that your website does its job.
Conductor is a customizable and proprietary Web-based Content Management System (CMS) developed by Marketing Communications that enables non-technical users to quickly and easily create and manage their Websites. There is no software to purchase and install, and no server connections to oversee. And, because Conductor is tied into the University’s authentication system, clients can log in with their NetIDs. Currently, Conductor hosts more than 5,000 pages and over 9,000 images and other assets.
Web support is billable at $95 per hour (against a FOAPAL that must be provided along with the inquiry), unless the problem is specifically related to an issue with the Conductor application. There is a free user guide available online that answers the most common questions, as well as a Support blog with useful tips and tricks for Conductor.
Should you need assistance, feel free to contact us through the Request Help button at the top of the Conductor admin screens.
