Strategic Plan

Challenged by university president Rev. John I. Jenkins, C.S.C., to re-imagine the form and function of Notre Dame’s strategic plan, Marketing Communications created a multidimensional campaign with the purpose of engaging a broader swath of stakeholders involved in the plan, including University faculty, staff and students.



One component of the plan was a video featuring an intimate conversation with Fr. Jenkins and a collection of University staff and faculty. The multi-camera production conveyed the thorough and thoughtful nature with which the University approached its strategic planning process.


Individual college and department plans are housed on, and are enhanced by supporting video and photography.

In addition, simple, elegant printed posters displaying the University’s five institutional goals were created and distributed across campus, as a visual reminder to members of the Notre Dame community of the University’s strategic direction.
